On Friday Makenzie was freed from her cast. I can't believe it's been SEVEN long weeks. It was really weird to see her foot out of the cast. The muscles in her foot and calf had atrophied so much and her little leg looked so small compared to the other one. Also, her normally baby-soft skin was really rough and flaking. She can't wait till the old skin all peels off.

yeah kenzie!!! i am sure your mom will get your skin nice and soft again!! she is a super mom. :)
I'm so glad to see her out of the cast - what a long time for that poor girl! I'm sure she's excited to get back to normal!
